Stephanie Figuroa

Brand Manager – South Reno

Hi there! I’m Stephanie, a true Nevadan, born and raised in Reno, NV. I graduated from high school in 2009 and went on to earn my Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting from Carrington College. For the past 5 years, I’ve been working in the dental field and have had the privilege of managing our South Reno office for 4 years. I absolutely love everything about my job—the team, the brand, and the work culture we’ve created. When we’re not helping our wonderful patients, you’ll find us having a Nerf gun war or pulling pranks on each other, all while sharing plenty of laughs! I’m also fluent in Spanish—speaking, reading, and writing.
Outside of work, I’m at home with my high school sweetheart of a husband, and together we have three amazing kids—a 6-year-old girl and two boys, ages 4 and 2. Life with little ones keeps us busy, but when we do find a quiet moment, I love to unwind with a good book (I’m an avid reader!).
One of my favorite quotes is, “Without suffering, there’d be no compassion,” by Nicholas Sparks. It’s a reminder that challenges make us stronger and more empathetic!

Carrissa DeLaRosa

Practice Manager – Northwest Reno

My name is Carrissa, I was born in California but was raised in Reno. I had my love for kids since I was younger when I started babysitting my cousins. I just love the energy and imagination that kids have, just the stories that they tell are so adventurous. Now I am a mom to two wild little boys that keep me on my feet.
I have been in the dental field for three years. Went to Milan to pursue my career as a dental assistant, did my extern at a pediatric dental office and fell in love with interacting with kids at their visits and seeing their face when they get to choose out a cool toy at the end. I’ve been with My Kids Smile for three years as a dental assistant, had the opportunity to grow within the company to a lead DA and now the Manager at our Las Brisas location.
When I’m not a work I love spending time with my family, from playing video games, to running around at the park, and of course lots of baseball games/practices on the weekends.

Christy Ramirez

Practice Manager – Central Reno
Hi! I am the Practice Manager at our Grant location.  I have worked in the dentistry field since 2018 and I absolutely love working with children.  It is definitely the highlight of my day when I get to help cheer up a little one who is a little scared to be at our office. I am a big softy who loves to cheer everyone on!!
When I am not at the office, I am hanging out with my family and my sweet Great Dane Remi.  In my spare time, you will find my husband and I country line and swing dancing in our favorite country hangouts.  We also love going to concerts any chance we get!

Elizabeth Franco

Practice Manager – North Hills

Hello my name is Elizabeth I am the manager at the North Valley location. My journey started in this location 6 years ago, when I walked through the doors for a front desk interview, needless to say I got the position. Throughout the years I moved around the office from front desk, to dental assistant, to my current position now as the manager. 

I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, by two lovely parents who migrated from Mexico. I am fluent in spanish. I graduated high school and went to TMCC to start the process of becoming a dental hygienist. I was fortunate enough while working at My Kids Smile to become a dental Assistant to see if I wanted to continue to pursue that career. In 2010 I met the love of my life, my husband Edgar and 9 years later welcomed our amazing son to the world, Santiago. 

My family and I love the great outdoors and enjoy camping during the summer time and snowboarding during the winter. We try to stay true to our roots and make sure we make frequent trips to Mexico and Guatemala, which my husband is from. I am proud to say because of this I am able to contribute to the Spanish speaking community. 

 The environment we have created here at My KIds Smile is nothing less than amazing, as the passion we have in serving our communities is demonstrated in what we do everyday.

Kandys Sambrano

Practice Manager – Sparks/Vista

My name is Kandys. I’m from Phoenix, AZ, but was raised in the Reno/Sparks area. I have been in the dental field since 2006 and with My Kids Smile since 2014. I have witnessed the growth of My Kids Smile as we now have 5 locations and have collaborated with each location. Outside of work I enjoy the great outdoors from hiking, fishing, golfing, camping and snowboarding. I love going to concerts of any genre. I will also never turn down a vacation. My husband Stan for the most part gets to enjoy all these little life moments with me. 

My favorite quote is from Mr. Bob Ross “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents”
